Reflections of New Hampshire.

      The State of New Hampshire certainly has it's history, beauty, and tucked away places.  Here is something a little wild.  A long time ago extreme sports in New Hampshire used to exist. Not like it is now a days.  There were no snowboards, waterskies, bungee chords.  Back in the 1800's there were Bruins, also known as Black Bears.  Wild Black Bears.  The game was, you bait a Black Bear to go under a branch.  While you are on the branch.  Wait quietly, and while the bear is eating you jump onto it's back and hang on as long as you can.  This is called, "Bear Back Riding."  It's kind of like bull riding, but the bull has dagger like claws and teeth instead of horns.  Now That was extreme.

The Cog Railway

Climbing Mt. Washington several times a day.  Nothing says New Hampshire better than that.

Mt. Whiteface, Mt. Passaconaway sunset.

Sunset in mid July. In June, July and August the sun sets over Mt. Whiteface when you are viewing it from Ossipee Lake.
